Namecheap is doing backend upgrades today. Dns will work fine, but their link to the registry will be down from 6pm PT until 2am tonight. That means no new registrations, transfers or renewals.
Take care of your stuff before or after, I just know someone is gonna post a pissed off thread about it later so I wanted to give everyone a heads up
