The racism is generally an overall southern problem, but the politicians believing they are above the law is much more prevalent in Louisiana than elsewhere.
That being said, my fat honky ass will be moving to the other side of the mason dixon line just as soon as my son goes off to college. I won't stay here 1 day longer than I have to.
