As Ralph Nader can attest, it's very difficult to make a difference standing out in front of huge corporate offices with picket signs. It is far easier to educate the consumer. However if Ralph Nader wrote Unsafe At Any Speed while he sat on the board of Ford Motor Co. he would have been laughed off the public stage. Sadly, adult webmasters are simply that gullible.
Buy Aaron's content! He was the one who took the huge and risky step to help purify the industry by pointing out missing names and links on his competitors' websites! And all you content providers, make sure you become Aaron's friend so he will notify you before his next 'crusade' (or simply forget to put you on the list.)

Do you honestly think that if it was presented as ANYTHING but a swift kick in the ass, half the people who ARE doing something would have even bothered? Most people aren't that big on subtlety. Sure, Aaron was a little tactless.. but guess what.. the law isnt' so tactful either. Everyone is so busy bitching about Aaron being "mean" that they seem to forget that he's doing them a HUGE favor, and nobody asked him to do it. He's doing it for the general betterment of the industry as a whole, and I for one applaud it. What do you want him to say? "Pardon me, but you might want to read my little list here, and umm.. could you please be nice and not make all of us suffer for your laziness?" Hell with that.
Aaron
