If your throat still hurts and nothing will sooth it then there's a good chance that you have "Strep Throat" and the only way to get rid of that is with an anti-biotic from the doctors.

I know that I seem to get that about once a year and it's absolutely HORRIBLE, nothing sooths it. I spent close to $30 on different pills and sprays and medicines, nothing worked. Even eating or drinking wouldn't help it. IF that's how your feeling, head into the doctors because you probably have strep. I ended up going in at 3am in the morning to the emergency room because I couldn't take the pain any longer. It's the worst when you wake up in the middle of the night and try to get back to sleep with it.

AND if you do go in and it is strep throat, take ALL 10 days worth of medicine, I quit after 6 because I was feeling better and it came back, making me go back in for more anti-biotics, ha ha ha.
