I don't recall suggesting wearing this ghey padding added delays to the game.
As I understand it, delays are actually naturally built in to the rules of American Football? Seems they actually stop running about doing the actual sport part or actually doing anything strenuous every few minutes, then they get their breath back, kick the ball down the field a bit?
