haha.. exactly why I have 4 of the 6 babies from the one litter. I wanted the momma kitty. I also wanted a bigfoot male. Part of the purchase agreement to get Maura was that she have one litter with the breeder's pick of male and give her a breeder quality kitten back from the litter (if there was one). Well....5 of the six were breeder quality. She'd told me that for a first litter there might be 2 or 3 kittens. When I called her two days before Xmas in 1998 and told her there were 6, she told me to expect to lose one or two. Didn't happen. Then she had someone in New York that wanted to buy Rusty for $1500 and Rusty was one that I was definitely keeping from the very day they were born. Stubs could have gone for $2000+, but the morning he was laying on my pillow on his back and pawing the air at me (waving) my heart melted. He turned out to weigh 23 lbs.
This guys are more like dogs than cats. Three of them will play fetch with me at my desk for as long as I'll toss a toy to them.
