The reason it must piss her off is because she wants us all to have an image of her family that is simply not real.

In the Vanity Fair article Levi made them out to sound like a REAL typical American family. It only looks bad because Palin wants us to believe that she has the ideal family; the type of family that rarely exists these days.

Her kids don't even like her. She is self-centered and I would imagine that she views both Bristol and Levi and their situation to be nothing but a major inconvenience to her own lofty goals.
