Unfortunately, it will be EXTREMELY hard for you to explain your future employer what you did the last years. Depends on what you were doing all those years, of course.
But if you just sat at home as an affiliate, the last 8 years will be a blank spot in your CV.
It's always a good idea to have a mainstream biz on the side, just in case the porn biz does not work out.
