And yes it is tricky.

If someone sent you kiddy porn (even another minor) you should be OK, unless you collect it, request it, etc.
If you then send it to someone else you would be distributing kiddy porn.
If you shot a pic of yourself, well that should be null.
If you send that to someone else you are distributing kiddy porn.

Just my views. Also no I do not blame technology. Kids could of done it with a polaroid or other medium in the past. They just need to be brought up to speed that the world does not revolve around them.
