How do you say No to a model that you do not want to hire?

Every once in a while we get a new model completing an application who does not quite fit the niche I am looking for. For whatever the reason (age, body type, look, dress, PERSONALITY, etc) are wrong. Sometimes, its onlye 1 or more of the parameters above that are either exceeded, or not quite met. We don't want to be rude and we don't want to disapoint, but sometimes when they keep asking "Why? Why? WHY?" we have to be brutal and tell the truth.

What do YOU do? Any horror stories?
