Authorize.net is fine for simple needs. If you want a more robust solution with a huge amount of flexibility in every aspect, I suggest you check us out. We process for hundreds of mainstream companies. Better yet, check out Authorize.net's admin and then check ours out. We will be happy to do a one on one walkthrough with you (they won't as they only go through resellers), and you will surely see the difference.
