I want to set up a free site, but not sure the best way to run it.

It is going to feature original content, but with a humorous slant...

It is the kind of novelty people would look at a few times, but not pay a membership for.

Should I use a free host and push sponsors? Go with something like NastyDollars free hosting?

Buy some hosting and push it towards my sites?

Ideas?
