But this isn't P2P. This is on the newsgroup which is undetectable of who downloads it and if the message header is stripped before uploading, undetectable of the uploader as well. For a mere $18/mo, someone could join usenetserver and download complete site rips, dvds, clips, etc... along with warez, music, and HD BLu Ray rips. If this was just a P2P or torrent thing, I would agree to an extent. But since no one owns the newsgroups, there is absolutely NO WAY to stop this practice. So why bother wasting promoting Reality Kings when any user can go download a terabyte of their content for $18 a month?
