Oh fuck yes! I still have a mental image from walking into the school storeroom and seeing the printer there covered in ink and getting hit with the smell... Pure goodness..
I just got hit with another old one the other day that no one else will give a shit about, but after about 2 decades my mother got the hungarian honey cake recipe from a formerly ostracised member of the family who used to make it on special occasions and made some.. damn.. Seriously I spent more time smelling it than eating it.. one of those childhood memory things... honey, cloves and spices that come out smelling close to something like ginger but not.
