I bought the rights to use some dvd content from a studio.

What is the easiest and cheapest way to get all the content off the dvd's and convert it to .wmv format?

I tried a trial of vegas and it was really complicated and I dont want to spend hundreds of dollars just to convert some video. I just want something easy. I dont understand video at all, the bitrates, audio, nothing.

If I can just convert it all into .wmv then I can use windows movie maker or something easy to make my edits.
