Googe is in the PR update phase while still in the caffeine mumbo jumbo stage. Things are all over the place, mostly due to alot of people changes things on their sites due to all the "suggestions" that are floating around on how to better your results with caffeine. Bottom line, until google is done doing what they are doing, there is no way to pin point any rhyme or reason for all the moves.
