I wonder what happend to Obama's campaign promise not to raise anyones taxes who earn less than $250,000?. If you believe that this can be done with no ones taxes being raised, you are in a dreamland.

Does anyone really believe that this won't further damage this countries economy. The original estimate to run Medicare in 1965 was $3,000,000,000. The house ways and means committee estimated that by 1990, the cost to run Medicare would only be $12,000,000,000.

They got it wrong, in 1990 the actual cost was $107,000,000,000. Now Medicare is a $400,000,000,000 a year disaster. I for the life of me can't believe people on the left, or the right believe anything the government says when it comes to giving an acurate number to run a program.

This is just old Teddy trying to destroy the government even more, not by some evil plan, but you can't continue to spend money you don't have. Hell!, Teddy started the HMO'S and then blamed them all for what they became.

We have to control the cost, but we don't have to wreck our whole system for a few million people who have no insurance. We also have to find a way to help people who have pre exsiting conditions. I just can't trust a bunch of lawyers who many have never run any bussiness to even come close to doing this right.
