If you were an NFL quarterback and won the Super Bowl a few years ago, wouldn't you be proud of that? And it wouldn't mean that you aren't still playing the game just as well as you ever did or even better.
Brokering a deal of that magnitude doesn't just happen everyday. And after the internet bubble broke right after that time, it's an almost non-existent type of thing to pull off.

Great analogy. I still think my greatest achievement was helping to write, star, and promote a mainstream motion picture that was released in theatres and still plays on cable all over the world nightly. Having Kurt Loder call it his favorite doc of 2007 was quite an honor
It's still what I am most proud of.
Truth be told I raised more money than $ 5 million for a few internet start ups- of course I didn't have a person as honorable as Rick M to live up to their side of the bargain in taking care of me in the long run. Risk takers like us end up scoring big in the end.
We also strike out more than most.
You also have to give credit to the guys who sold Porn.com as well as Sex.com they got a hell of a lot more than $5 Million
