I got a pirated copy of 3D Studio back then... Check this out from my old website...
"(Star Trek vs. Star Wars)
Here are three frames from my first 3D studio animation. There are five starships approaching many TIE fighters that have hidden behind the Death Star. The complete animation is 90 frames (320x225), and the output (.TGA's) were converted to (.MOOV Quicktime Format) by using Graphics Converter (MAC). The animation was rendered on an IBM 66 DX2. If I remember correctly, it only took 90 minutes. (About a minute per frame) The complete animation will be available online (and inline) as soon as Netscape adds support for inline Quicktime .MOOV files."
