they are lucky they don't get murdered. it's been a while since i've had to be familiar with maritime law.. but most of what they do constitutes acts of piracy under international maritime law as well as other serious violations. they could be held and tried in japan for the bulk of the shit they pull. particularly when they send someone over to actually go onto another ship.. they could murder him as soon as he was on the boat without permission and be in the right for doing it.
all these fucking idiots are the same. they aren't FOR the sustainable harvesting of food... they are AGAINST a whale getting killed. it has nothing to do with law, with whaling agreements or anything else. like all environmentalists, they are driven by irrational emotion, leading to irrational behaviors and the only "solution" to them is 100% full and complete compliance with their wishes, simply because its what they want.
