Remember that when Merriman was suspended by the NFL for breaking rules for steroid substance abuse a few years ago, that he and his lawyer claimed he innocently consumed it via legal dietary supplements, although no "dietary supplement" companies were subsequently indicted for selling an illegal supplement, and the NFL also did not buy his story either.

The Shawne Merriman vs Tila Tequila case may turn into a "He Said - She Said" case, however a simple statement by him, his buds partying at his house in the early hours of the morning, and his lawyer, do not exonerate him by any means.

If there was plenty of alcohol at the scene, then why would Tila need to go anywhere else to try and get alcohol, particularly at an hour when alcohol sales are prohibited?
