It is a mean to an end. If I have to shoot adult content to do the real passion and work that I have, then so be it. If the offer doesn't interest you, great. But someone who actually understands mainstream and the actual film business will see the opportunity as a smart investment considering mainstream anything reaches more viewers on average than even the best marketed porn. Look at YouTube and some of the shittiest videos produced that have 400k-500k hits. And these are by people without much experience or knowledge on how to write a competent script much less follow the rules in the film making process.

If you're not stuck shooting "skin" for a living... why are you here again? Isn't that exactly what you are trying to do here? It doesn't sound like your Bachelors & Masters in Film are really paying off for you in your "forte" mainstream, sparky.
