Most trainers.. when I'd tell them I had hormone issues.. and discuss PCOS with them.. and birth control/metformin.. would just tell me that I'm making excuses.. I'm not doing things right.. I'd give a food journal.. and they'd say I was lying... it was all a bad experience..

If it's just a personal goal then more power to ya. I just wanted to make sure you knew what you were doing. I've literally run thousands of miles and can tell you from personal experience and from studying, that running will only get you so far in terms of weight loss and it can have long term effects on your body. Having said that, it can definitely give you a sense of accomplishment and can be highly addictive. Just make sure you're not doing it for the wrong reasons.
