This thread seems evident of the growing opinion that there are entirely too many shows, and what was once effective networking is turning into the global party circuit that many of us simply can't justify spending money on.
I suspect that if this whole industry convened only ~3-4 times per year and spent the rest of the time and money used at the shows in Oklahoma, Uzbekistan, Paraguay etc. on more sensible ends, we'd all be making a lot more money right now.
