Here's my extended take - there are times when I think resisting is reasonable. Take this case:
The cop was being fucking ridiculous in this and I'm not sure many people would have NOT resisted his demands. In fact, it's amazing the cop was cleared of wrongdoing per the video.
Likewise I think there's worse instances of police brutality in normal pull-overs too:
Not that he was beating her but jesus...if the cop in the OPs video went up to that guy like that, I'd have more of a problem with it. Gun drawn, screaming, and trying to pull the person out of the car on a speeding stop just because the car didn't pull over immediately is much to say the least (and the cop rightfully got fired).
The way I see it, the guy in the first video and all guys that completely resist even simple commands like giving their license are either hiding something or WANT to provoke something and get a settlement.
