He took off after the bear and the bear stopped and turned as my dog continued toward it. The bear began to come toward my dog with head lowered...so I fired my .357 into the air...the bear halted but my dog continued towards the bear and was getting to close so I fired again and this time the bear turned away and ran off. I think maybe my dog is not to smart.
