I'm thinking about getting a slightly larger than normal truck, an F250. I really don't need power beyond what a standard full size truck would offer I just think this is more attractive. I was told I could get performance chip and increase the truck's mpg from 11 to 14. It seems I can get 1 more mpg if I throw in a K&N air filter (I guess thats what they said, it was hard to get past the fanboy bias and the hobbyist jargon).

Do you guys concur? Is there anything else I could do to increase the mpg of this truck?
