You can still get damm good coin for domain names, it's just a little harder now, and you have to wait longer for the "right" buyer.
We have been selling domains since 1995, not too bad but 2003 is def. slower then previous years.
Our high bids lately have been,

oilforsale.com 40k
gasoline.org 15k
Just like real estate, if you don't like the bid, hold onto it.
