I realize that you guys have no love lost for IBill, however -- ANY time that ANY biller is removed from the adult space it simply makes it harder on the remaining billers -- as there are fewer of them left, Visa/MC can much more easily implement more stringent requirements and police them.
While IBill has definitely made mistakes, especially in the past year, I wouldn't count them as dead yet. Their management has stated that they intend to continue processing in the adult space, but with a much different plan of attack, so to speak, than they have previously.
With the fines they've incurred from the cc's, one would think that change was the only way to preserve their business.
I'm sure at some point that Intercept will have to decide if it's worth it to retain IBill as an adult billing company or morph it into something else, or perhaps even divest themselves of it.
In any case, more is better, and that means more billing choices for all site owners.
