I'm not blaming the customer here. I do honestly believe that if the industry puts up good content, the customer would be willing to return to the source to view it.

We have come to deny the value of our content, and what a porn site membership can stand for. The membership should be thought of as a valuable commodity. It should also be priced to allow the customer to pay a price that makes him or her feel happy to have it and keep it on a renewing basis.

Of course you will always have those who would wish to download your content, but I think the majority can be made to see the value and excitement that an adult site can give them.

The membership should be thought of as admitting them to the place where they can fulfill a fantasy. If they can download it to their home computer, why do they need to continue a membership?
