And you have a vast imagination if you think there are pronounceable 4-letter names available for $8 or good quality 5-6 letter ones for that much. There may be SOME reasonable 5-6 letter names that come available, but you have to be quick on them because there are many of us domainer vultures waiting to snatch up such names. Money better spent is finding a better quality one for sale for a reasonable price. One of the biggest mistakes people make is not taking their domain seriously...it can be the best money you can spend.

I have a boner for 'em because they sell, lol. Actually, my freebie site is on a nice 6-letter too (Blammo -dot- com) and I do like some of the other short names I have a lot. Especially these days with Web 2.0 running rampant on the net, the ideal Web 2.0 name is something short that looks and sounds cute. Get that, slap a VAG rounded font logo with "Beta" and you're halfway to creating a Web 2.0 site!
