to be honest in 2009 I'm surprised people still use monitors, this is not exactly new technology, I read about this sort of thing in Wired magazine over 10 years ago, but just like anything else I guess it can take a long time to go mainstream, there is still a demand for huge flat panel tv's and monitors (don't ask me why) but holographic technology will be everywhere pretty soon
