That is why it is not " KIDNAPPED " but captured or arrested.
Kidnapped would be if you are walking on a quiet street in Italy, you are grabbed by men in black , showed in a black van, drove to an airport and sent to Morocco or Egypt for " debriefing " . After a while, you end up for an all-inclusive package in a charming carribean Island for an unlimited/undetermined stay .
