I've experienced this one first hand in a big way, and learned my lesson. Goes back to the quote about "90% is how you react".
No matter how right you are about something, the guy who is cooler under pressure will come out on top, even if he is dead wrong....and a conniving, undermining scumbag. Yeah, I still think about it.
