I had that happen when I first started in this business, in 1997.
Well, it wasn't a tube, but I made my own clip to promote a sponsor.
I got a phone call from the very unhappy producer (Sorry Bob).
I'll never do that again without getting approval.
Contact the sponsor about the specific content you want to use.
I bet they'll let you use it in some way that will work for you - maybe
limiting the length to some medium length or something. Perhaps
make a sample page with a reasonable length clip on a page that
clearly promotes their site. If they think it may get them sales, they'll
say OK. They own the content. If it's not OK with them, then doing that
is stealing plain and simple. Consider if you spent $20,000 on video
equipment and another $3,000 to produce that video. You wouldn't want
it spread all around without your permission, right? I bet if you make a
reasonable sized clip they'll work with you, but if not, too bad - it's their
video that they paid for so it's their choice.
