I think society changed faster than playboy could keep up. I'm 32. When I was a teenager getting your hands on a playboy was a jackpot. I imagine even for 20 and 30 year olds looking through a playboy was arousing. In the past 10 years with the web and mtv era everything has changed. It takes more to arouse someone and even more then that to get them off. Where playboy used to do the job they no longer do and as a result have lost that edge. I imagine teenagers today don't crave to get their hands on a playboy but crave to get on redtube and youporn. Big difference
