Smash his teeth out and keep them.
Leave him there, no need to add honey or anything to get ants onto him.
Dispose of gun, clothes and teeth.
Come back 3 months later, nothing decomposes like the hot sun.
Bury the skeleton.
Sinking in a ocean is not so good as bodies keep forever in salt water.
