There are hundreds of thousands of TGPs around at this time. Inspired by the success of sites like The Hun and such, thousands of webmasters have aped the concept, filling the internet with many possible variations on the TGP concept.

Right now, building a new standard TGP will not lead to great amounts of bookmarkers, simply because many - if not most - surfers have already bookmarked TGPs, or can find one in a matter of minutes.
Contrary to what you seem to believe, there are also many thousands of "clean" TGPs. That simple fact negates your assumption that the lack of skimming will result in great amounts of bookmarkers.
Sure, you'll get some - if you update with a lot of new galleries each and every day - but you will not become one of the "big guys" if you stick to the standard TGP formula. The combination of fierce competition, a saturated market and many big, established players ensures that.
Now, on top of that, not trading will greatly reduce your chances of getting lots of fresh visitors. Thus, it will limit your growth severely.
The combination of all these things makes it almost impossible for a new standard TGP to make decent money. And, on top of that, it will only get worse, since hundreds of TGPs are popping up each and every day. The TGP market is not improving.

There are several things which you can do to gain an edge.
One would be to focus on a non-saturated niche. There are still niches in which you can make decent money, and even have a chance at becoming the market leader.
Another would be to make your site "special" to the surfer. However, that includes a lot more than just putting up a free movie each day. It requires doing something original, new or unusual. This could be adding a whole new dimension to your TGP with different types of (porn or non-porn) content (like games, stories, a community, etc), or creating something else that manages to get the surfer's attention.
Just adding a single, small thing will not make a huge difference, though.

Something to think about: a new, single, non-niched TGP without original ideas will not be a good source of income at this point in time, but it will take away large chunks of your time and energy. So, if you make one, you are in effect hurting your own future business, by creating something without lots of growth potential.

My first post was based on the annoyance of seeing yet another mainstream generic TGP, which lacks the creativity required for actually adding something to the industry - and all that in the wrong forum.
Very informative post here. Thanks.

BTW as for the TGP in question, yes its a very clean and basic design, actually its a decent design. However Punkworld is right when he said it would take alot of your time for little to no income. If thats fine with you, or if this is just a hobby as nasty mentioned, then go ahaid and build on it ... if your looking to make money off this, dont bother.
