Just a couple experienced Fish and Wildlife officers with decent boots, sure hands, a bit of rope a burlap sack and a vehicle to transport them. Unless a Wildlife officer makes about $200,000 a year I would say your figures are way off.

While the pythons are thriving in the Everglades it's the Iguanas that have turned out to be the real pests as they have taken over south Florida.
