They are called the country music awards. There's 1000x more white people on and involved in the Black Entertainment Awards than there are black people involved with the Country Awards.
Black Entertainment is much more integrated in general than say Country Music or general television like NBC. Black/Urban entertainement is called that because of it's historical separation by white people from the general popular music and other media categories. This started with "Race" music back in the 50's, and continued on to this day with Urban... which is usually the same thing as pop which makes a lot of black people wonder why they still have to be classified separately.
So, don't take the Black Entertainment Television name as an affront to white people, because there's just as many white people involved in it and watching it as there are black people. Blame the racist elders that made it the norm to separate black media from the rest of the population with redundant categories.
