it's ... "everything that requires gas and electricity to be produced, going up - which also includes your own gas and electricity going up"
we could have just gave car companies or inventors or Tesla Motors or whoever 1 Billion Dollars.. and another 300 Billion in start up capital when a viable alternative is developed instead of bailing out failed, shitty, irresponsible financial institutions... instead, we'll just keep punishing success, punishing the average person and hope for the best. That's a plan that only someone with a profoundly poor understanding AND/OR total disreguard for the most basic tenets of economics, could dream up as a "sensible idea"
instead of rewarding innovation and encouraging innovation, we'll instead create a new bureaucracy and more government control in the economic sphere, that punishes everyone until someone figures out how to be punished less... as a solution with ZERO regard for consumers and the economic consequences.
