#1. Not sure I totally agree with this. I think it helps that there are more chicks than guys out there, and a bunch of them are gay. Maybe I just lucked out being raised where I was. Chicks were easy.
#2. Mother Nature set it up so offspring should be easily recognized by the father as it being his. Back in caveman days there was no other means.
#3. I'm torn on this one. I have changed my response four times. While many "pack" species (of which I would classify people I guess) have a pack leader that gets to "mount" all the females, we are the only ones that do it for fun.
That throws a real twist in things when discussing the evolutionary aspect.
