The first few posts get a lot of views, farther down the page you get, the less exposure, then the 50th, 100th, 150th, etc posts get some nice views

The shorter and more to the point the post is, the better. the longer a post, the more people will skip it. Learned this from serge, the master, who once claimed to not have a post longer than 3 lines.

Also from serge, views are the only/primary factor, is whether you can draw views.

You can get additional branding from having your business name in your handle. one of the best areas of real estate on gfy is the first 10 lines under Thread Starter on the front page. if you can get your name to appear there, you get 10X+ the exposure of a large banner (thats why you see those contests where companies are willing to throw down $ to have their thread title at the top of gfy for an amount of time)

Board traffic is much greater during the week then weekends, and around noon or so during the week is when its the fastest

what else, or how wrong am i on some of the above points?
what's this about? That was way too much to read
