The argument "tradition" just doesn't make any sense at all.
So some father tries to tell his young kid "ok, i want you to watch this. Some dude's gonna torture a bull, and we're gonna clap and enjoy it, and watch the bull bleed to death slowly"
"umm dad, i don't wanna see that shit"
"you have to son. it's tradition"
"erm, ok"
Tradition only remains because the information gets passed on to future generations. Using that as an excuse to make something ok is just wrong.
What if it's tradition in your country to get ass raped off a donkey ??
