In other words you'd have to go from the Earth to the sun and back to Earth over 136,000 times to travel the same distance it is to the nearest star outside our solar system. the fastest man made ship was Apollo 10 which reached 25,000 MHP. Which means it would take 155 days to get to the sun. It would take 115,000 YEARS to get to the nearest star.
