It's not dying by any means. There are a handful of new business models, just some refuse to accept them (i.e. tubes, clips stores, interactive, etc.).
Those people should be out of this business in another year or two unless in a niche market. In Jan at the Vegas show, a lot of the BRO programs admitted they were down 40-75%. Why they would not make some changes is beyond me. Especially if you OWN the content. I milk mine over and over and over. Sites, clip stores, licensing deals. It's like a gold mine.
If you can't innovate, you deserve to be out of business.
