I suppose the real news is when spokesmen for Iraq come on Al Jazeera and promise the people that forces will defeat the US at the gates of Baghdad. Meanwhile, we have video footage of our soldiers searching a destroyed palace in Baghdad.
I suppose we'll still see them years from now saying the US is on the verge of defeat, even after we set up a new government there and turn Baghdad into a vacation resort?
