It's very simple.
Faster? Cable.
Reliable and durable? DSL.
I use cable, and a T1 for my office. That way I am never completely down. I have had more grief with my cable over the years then with my T1. While a T1 is not DSL. I used to work in telco for 8 years. Both business, and residential.
I stand by my statement.
