I'm well aware that people can just stop posting, just seemed highly coincidental of the timing as he was getting some heat from a few in here. I don't think he scammed, I do think he jumped the gun coming to gfy immediately upon hearing of his son's condition. He admittedly didn't even go to his family, friends or community before gfy. I think he was overwhelmed at the response and never expected to receive that much from gfy and then learned that insurance was going to cover a significant portion. Seems somewhat ironic that Batts led the charge to get donations coming in to help with his financial situation, and now Batts is broke.
