I was'nt either, but after 2 years dating and getting close to 40 at the time...and her getting close to 30...if I did not committe she might have bounced. A relationship needs to keep evolving to the next step. Plus adding to the pressure to the mix, she was here on a student visa. I don't regret it, I had so many hot girls in the past and you know when the right one comes along, but it is people who get married to young that run into problems.
What seeled the deal for me, was after having a great time with her...I woke up in her house...and she had this big breakfast made for me. Myself being from an Italian background food is most important.
